About Me

I grew up in Rogers (Hassan Township) on a small hobby farm just outside of town. My father’s family is from Rogers, his childhood home just a half mile down the road from ours, and my mother grew up in St. Michael. I’ve lived in this area most of my life, and moved to Albertville in 2009. My wife and I married in 2011 and began to fall in love with the school district shortly thereafter, taking advantage of the awesome classes offered by ECFE with our two daughters, and eventually Bright Beginnings, Kindergarten at the Primary School, and then Elementary. This year marks a new era for us with our oldest heading off to Middle School. In 2017 I volunteered to help establish a robotics program at the high school as a programming mentor, and continue to serve as President of the 7028 Robotics Booster Club as they head into their 6th season in First Robotics.

I’ve been a software engineer since 2006, I started in a full-time corporate position out of college and moved into a consulting role in 2008, eventually starting my own business and consulting independently for several years before settling down a bit again in a full-time role with Ceridian in 2017.
